Overview

Here is the amazing site plan of the Estate. All is build on 1,4 ha of land. I guess that this is a very intelligent design, where the luxury, grant vision is still there. Although the property is huge with 1,4 ha, you don’t feel so lost, because every thing is build in relation to the property. Only the pool has a length of 20 meter – I love to swim my 1000 meter laps every day – and the two gazebos on the side have a length of 10 meter each. You still have contact with the stables, which is nice, when you see the horses from the pool area. Also you can see the Arena, when riders are training.  The stables have a special drainage system with own septic tank, so the urine of the horses does not smell somewhere else. I never saw this before in a stable.  The stable roof is inspired by the roofs of Sulawesi Houses and a horse lover from Jakarta once told me, that he never saw so beautiful stables in Indonesia. Also the boxes are oversized with 25 sqm and each box has its own Paddock. There is also a Group Paddock as well, where we put the horses sometimes together for socializing. Five star resort for horses….,  but also for stylish humans…. One of the most impressive constructions I have seen in Bali.

Front / Entrance View with a beautiful Javanese Entrance Door. I saw this door at a Villa we rented near Magelang, when we were invited by Dr. Oei for an Art Presentation. I directly photographed it and build it in Jepara. The design of the Villa is more adapted in a traditional way, which in some cases more reminds to the Villas you have in the South of France. We thought, that this fits more in the Indonesian Environment than a fancy modern Bauhaus Style Villa. Dominated Materials inside are wood and marmor, which gives an elegant touch to the whole building.

Terrace facing the pool. We have lunch here normally, when we are with family. When we have guests, we are using the big table in the pool area under the gazebos. For dinner then the dinning room.

The floor plan is used a bit in another way right now. Here in this plan you see the breakfast table still in the Wintergarden Area, which is facing the Pool Terrace. We have now an Italien Couch there, with two furniture pieces from England. This is nice for having a rest after lunch. The King Bedroom with King Bathroom was designed by me originally for a time, when you don’t want to go up anymore. We are using this now as the gym area. This room is also designed as a media room. You have already installed in the ceiling all cables for projector and screen, so you can use this room as a media room. The storage beside the kitchen is actually the washing machine room and opposite is the storage room with AC. The dinning room is for 24 people with a 7 meter table and a billiard table. The billiard table can be used with a top as a buffet table, if you have bigger invitations.

The big stairs in the court yard are inspired by the Mansion in the film Scarface with Al Pacino. Above the court yard is an openable roof, with beside an dramatic effect gives you also a perfect climate, so you don’t need AC in the first floor, except in the gym and the office, where I installed AC. It might be ok, if the dinning room later also will have AC. This is no problem to install. During the Quarantine we did not have guests and I used the big table for my creative work. With the side windows open and the ventilators on, it was a perfect climate. The roof top is normally open the whole day, so long it is not raining, so the hot air is going out through the top. With the front and back doors open, you have a perfect circulation and a fantastic view from inside to the outside.

Main House

Because we are still ok, we used the upper Master Bedroom with the Family Room and our daughter was in the second Master Bedroom, so we could meet in the Family Room, which is located between our Bedrooms. The small single room on the other side can be used also as massage room, or Nanny/Maid Room, if you want to have them nearby. The titled Children Bedroom are Twin Bedroom, the other two guest rooms are double bedrooms. All super large, like a Junior Suite.

Beach Houses

Plan of the Beach Houses. We have two. The roof is inspired by a leaf, so it fits really in the nature. One of the Beach Houses is inside a lot of trees, so it is not so obvious. The second Beach House we planted Bougainville Flowers, so later you will not see the Beach House so much anymore from the Pool Area.

Gallery / Function Hall

This is the Function Hall / Gallery. I build this only to be complete. In the moment we are using this for all outdoor furniture storage. The sense of building this was also, that if one time you want to have more rooms, you can build this here. The columns are so made so thick, that you can put a second floor easy on top. In the back of the building is enough place of building bathrooms. Very easy to convert in something else.
